The CPG Story
For almost twenty years, Commercial Property Group (CPG) has been managing a variety of properties and homeowner associations in Steamboat thanks to the original founders, Medora Fralick and Nancy Kounovsky, who remain with the company today. In 2018, Ben and Andrea Wilhelm joined their team and merged with CPG in an effort to expand their maintenance company, formerly known as “CJAMS” (Commercial Janitorial & Maintenance Services). Ben and Andrea have lived in Steamboat for almost 10 years and love the outdoor family lifestyle it affords them with their two young boys.
Originally from Georgia, Ben graduated from Western State University. His professional experience includes various property manager and maintenance positions at Perry Mansfield (a 76-acre camp in Steamboat), NorthBay Adventure Camp (97-acre education center on the Chesapeake Bay), and Point Lookout Resort & Conference Center (387-acre resort in Maine). In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, motorcycle rides (& maintenance), gardening, and skiing.
A graduate of Stanford University, Andrea’s professional background centers on non-profit administration including accounting and human resources. She is a licensed SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), a CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations), and Associate Broker practicing under Medora Fralick. Prior to CPG, Andrea served as the HR Director at Casey’s Pond Senior Living for five years during its inception.
Medora started CPG in 2000 after 15 years in the banking industry as a real estate and commercial lender. Her accounting degree from the University of Colorado with an emphasis on financial analysis, plus her PCAM designation (Professional Community Association Manager), provides a basis for maximizing the profitability and value of our properties & HOA’s. Medora and her husband Ross raised their family outside of Hayden. Community involvement, board memberships, 4-H Club, equestrian competitions, and other outdoor activities fill her time away from the office.
Nancy joined the Commercial Property Group in 2002 as the CFO. She brings over 33 years of accounting expertise, focusing on the financial management/reporting aspects of the business. Previously from Littleton, CO, Nancy graduated with an accounting degree from Colorado State University. Nancy and her husband, Bart, have called Steamboat Springs their home since 1990 and have raised two boys while living in this beautiful mountain town. Taking advantage of the outdoor lifestyle Steamboat offers, she enjoys snowshoeing, hiking and gardening.
Angie joined Commercial Property Group in 2006 and fills various administrative roles. She graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. Angie grew up in South Routt County and returned to the area in 2000. She and her husband have enjoyed raising their four children in this amazing town for the past 19 years. In her spare time, Angie likes to read, travel and hike our beautiful valley.
Sherri joined Commercial Property Group in 2018 after 5 years as a Concierge at Casey’s Pond Senior Living. A long-time Steamboat native since 1986, she has been a professional bookkeeper for Freshies restaurant for the past 16 years as well as other small businesses in town. Sherri is an avid cat lover, food and wine connoisseur, and enjoys traveling to attend live music performances around the country.
Commercial Property Group is also supported by a team of 6 dedicated maintenance & landscaping employees – Mickey, Mike, John, Misael, Adam & Michelle. Adam and Michelle joined us in 2019 for landscaping and we’ve been fortunate to work with Mickey, Mike, John, and Misael for a few years now!
